Due to Museum Capacity, the Last Visitor Will Be Admitted at 15:00

During the annual "Museum Open Days" in the first week of March, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum will admit its last visitor no later than 15:00 due to capacity limits.

The museum announcement states: "Every year, during the first week of March, all state-owned museums organize 'Museum Open Days,' offering free admission to the public."

The museum notes that viewing all exhibition areas typically requires two to three hours. During Open Days, the facility announces: "the last visitor will be admitted no later than 15:00" due to capacity constraints and high attendance.

The announcement clarifies that visitors wanting to see the Golden Statue and Honorary Hall must purchase tickets, while permanent exhibition access remains complimentary during Open Days.

The museum expresses concern about preservation, stating: "the increased number of visitors may pose risks to the preservation and protection of museum exhibits." They encourage visits on regular days when children can attend classes or participate in educational programs for deeper historical exploration.

Regarding youth access, the museum notes that Mongolian citizens aged 0-16 receive free daily admission under the Museum Law. However, the announcement cautions: "bringing very young children may negatively affect their health and safety" during crowded Open Days events.
